Consignor Agreement

Welcome to Rêve! By consigning with us, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully.

1. PICKUP REQUIREMENTS

Consignors must be present at the scheduled pickup time to ensure the proper transfer and verification of items. This process allows our label collector to accurately account for all items being consigned. All items must be washed and folded ahead of pickup. Failure to be present may result in the cancellation of the pickup and erasure of store credit, and it will be the consignor's responsibility to reschedule.

2. PRICING

The pricing of consigned items is determined exclusively by Rêve. Our objective is to set prices that maximize consignors' earnings while remaining attractive to potential buyers. This pricing strategy is influenced by current market demand, the condition of the item, and our professional evaluation. Additionally, Rêve reserves the right to apply discounts and promotions at our discretion to facilitate the sale of your items. Our primary goal is to ensure the sale of consigned items in a timely manner.

3. ITEM QUALITY AND ACCEPTANCE

Rêve accepts both in-season and out-of-season apparel, provided they are in like new condition. Items submitted for consignment must meet our quality standards. We do not accept items that are heavily worn, stained, ripped, or otherwise damaged. Items failing to meet these standards will be disposed of at our discretion. Consignors acknowledge and agree that items deemed unacceptable by Rêve will not be returned.

4. MARKETING

The marketing of consigned items is managed solely by Rêve. We employ a variety of marketing strategies, including but not limited to social media promotion, website features, and other advertising methods, to enhance the visibility and appeal of consigned items. The selection of marketing channels and strategies is at the exclusive discretion of Rêve.

5. PRIVACY

The identities of consignors will be kept confidential and will not be disclosed to buyers or the general public. Rêve is dedicated to safeguarding your personal information, which will be handled in compliance with our privacy policy. This includes protecting your personal details and transaction history from unauthorized access, use, or disclosure. We employ industry-standard security measures to ensure the protection of your information and only share it with third parties who require it to perform services on our behalf, under strict confidentiality agreements.

6. CONSIGNMENT PERIOD

Items consigned to Rêve are subject to a consignment period of 365 days from the date of intake. Upon the conclusion of this period, consignors have a 5-day window to retrieve any unsold items. Rêve will not issue reminders at the end of the consignment period. It is the sole responsibility of the consignor to monitor the consignment period and retrieve any unsold items within the specified timeframe. Items not collected within this 5-day window will become the property of Rêve and may be donated or otherwise disposed of at our discretion.

7. PAYMENT

Payments for sold items are processed after the item is sold and the 5-day return period has elapsed. Consignors will be paid out through Venmo. Payments will be made in accordance with the commission structure outlined by Rêve. The commission structure is as follows:

Earn 50% commission for your sold items.

For low-valued items only, we maintain full discretion over their use. If they’re sold online, you will receive your 50% commission. If they're not quite right for the website but can be sold elsewhere, you'll get 5% store credit, upon sale. If we decide the best option is to donate those items to our community initiatives, there’s no commission.

Rêve strives to maximize consignor earnings while maintaining the attractiveness of items to buyers. As such, pricing and any discounts or promotions applied are at the sole discretion of Rêve, with the primary objective of achieving successful sales.

8. LIABILITY

Rêve takes diligent care in handling consigned items; however, we are not liable for any damage, theft, or loss of items during the consignment period. This includes incidents resulting from fire, water damage, or other unforeseen events beyond our control. Consignors agree that Rêve will not be held financially or otherwise responsible for any loss or damage to consigned items. Consignors are advised to maintain personal insurance coverage for valuable items if deemed necessary.

9. AMENDMENTS

Rêve reserves the right to amend this agreement at any time. Consignors will be notified of any changes via email. Continued use of our consignment services following such notification will constitute acceptance of the amended terms and conditions.

By consigning with Rêve, you hereby agree to abide by the terms and conditions outlined in this agreement. We are delighted to have you as part of our community and are committed to helping you extend the life of your items through our consignment services.
